All the schools engaged in the Enterprise Academy have access to www.equipped4enterprise.org on-line resources which provides the schemes of work, session plans, presentations, handouts and background information to deliver the qualifications described below.

Both NCFE and ILM qualifications can be used as part of the 14-19 Diplomas. They provide the accredited enterprise learning that supports the development of Personal Learning and Thinking Skills. A mix of theory and practice, the diplomas also include Functional Skills attainment – a further element of the activities on the equipped for enterprise site.

NCFE

The NCFE is a national awarding body that designs qualifications that recognise the skills, knowledge and understanding achieved by a learner. In operation as the NCFE since 1991, their aim is ‘to promote and advance the education and training of young persons and adults.’ The NCFE is recognised as an awarding body by QCA (England), CCEA (N. Ireland) and DELLS (Wales).
